We’re the crew that shows up when your AC quits in August or your furnace makes a sound it shouldn’t in January. Dalton Heating & Air Long Beach has been serving this city since 2003, and every tech on our roster lives within 30 minutes of the neighborhoods we work in: Belmont Shore, Bixby Knolls, Naples, Los Altos, and down toward Signal Hill. What unites us is simple. We write the price before we touch a tool. We fix it right the first time. And if it doesn’t hold, we come back for free, for a full year. That’s a promise every one of us signs off on.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marco Benitez, Owner
Marco has been in the trades since before he could legally buy a beer, and he still runs calls on the hottest and coldest days Long Beach throws at us. He started Dalton Heating & Air Long Beach because he got tired of watching homeowners get surprised by invoices. His rule: nobody works on your system until you’ve seen the number in writing. When he isn’t on a rooftop in Naples or a crawlspace near CSULB, he’s probably arguing about tortas with his brother-in-law or wiping salt spray off his truck. “The ocean air eats condenser coils for breakfast,” he says. “That’s why we’re busy.”
Danny R., Lead Technician
Danny has been turning wrenches for 14 years, the last nine of them with us. He’s factory-trained on Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard, which means he diagnoses fast without guessing. Danny handles the complex stuff: variable-speed heat pumps, zoning systems, and furnaces that have been “fixed” by someone’s cousin who saw a YouTube video. He grew up in Long Beach and refuses to work anywhere else. When he’s not pulling vacuum on a lineset, he’s coaching his daughter’s soccer team at Heartwell Park.
Luis T., Senior Installer
Luis runs our heat pump installation crew and is the guy we send when a full system replacement needs to go in clean and on schedule. He’s been installing residential HVAC for 11 years and is meticulous about airflow, duct transitions, and making sure the outdoor unit sits level on a pad that won’t sink in five years. Luis was born in Long Beach and knows which homes in Los Altos have tight attics and which ones in Bluff Park have salt-corroded disconnect boxes. Off the clock, he’s rebuilding a ’68 Impala in his garage. He’ll talk about it if you ask. He’ll also tell you your old return duct is undersized. Both conversations are worth having.
Alma C., Service Coordinator
Alma is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m. when your heat pump stops heating and the temperature inside is dropping. No voicemail queue, no callback window. She answers live, 24/7, and she knows the schedule well enough to tell you exactly who’s coming and when they’ll arrive. Alma has been with Dalton Heating & Air Long Beach for six years and knows every tech’s current job, traffic pattern, and lunch break. She speaks English and Spanish, which helps in a city where that matters. On weekends, she’s usually at Shoreline Village with her kids, keeping one eye on the phone. She’ll tell you it’s fine. It’s a coordinated system.
One Standard, Every Job
Dalton Heating & Air Long Beach is part of the Garrison Partners network, which means every one of our techs works under The Garrison Standard. That isn’t a poster on a wall. It’s the non-negotiable way we operate on every job, whether it’s a $190 capacitor swap in Belmont Heights or a full heat pump installation in Bixby Knolls. The Garrison Code says arrive inside the stated window, put the price in writing before starting, do the job by the book, leave the site clean, and stand behind the work for a full year. Every tech on this page has agreed to that. Every repair gets a written guarantee. If that repair fails within the year, we return at no charge: no negotiation, no fine print, no “well, that part isn’t covered.” Danny, Luis, and Marco are judged by that standard on every call. Alma schedules around it. That consistency is why homeowners across Long Beach keep our number in their phone, and it’s why we can offer a 365-Day Done Right Promise instead of the usual 30-day window our competitors give you. Call (562) 512-7423 and you’ll get Alma or Marco on the line, a straight answer, and a price you can hold us to.
